Kebaya

The kebaya is a blouse with a centre opening and is part of an important collective cultural identity for women in the Nusantara.

There are many versions of the kebaya, each distinct to the influences of the area or community it comes from. Traditionally paired with a batik sarong, at Henne Made, we are interpreting it through a contemporary lens but through fabrics and textiles with significant cultural or historical references.
