Kuih Piring
The colours in this Kuih Piring collection is inspired from our founder's favourite childhood snack, the kuih piring, which are colourful wafers made from rice flour. Sold in packets, they often feature yellow, pink and green wafers.
Gingham is widely believed to be derived from the Malay word "genggang" and originates from Southeast Asia. The fabric travelled through maritime trade routes linked to Europe, hence adapted as "gingham" with its checkered pattern.
