Fashioned after the kebaya Kartini which is named after noblewoman and women's right activist, Raden Ajeng Kartini, it carries the distinctive V-neckline and signature fold collar along the front. 

The colours in this Kuih Piring collection is inspired from a favourite childhood snack, the kuih piring, which are colourful wafers made from rice flour. Sold in packets, they often feature yellow, pink and green wafers. 

The fabric is a checkered seersucker which keeps the wearer cool and comfortable.
